Fast growing independent mortgage banker is seeking a pre-approval specialist to assist loan officers in closing files timely and effectively.
Responsibilities: ? Issue loan pre-approvals based on complete loan applications and documentation ? Detailed lead tracking and follow-up ? Attend pipeline review on behalf of loan officer and involve in escalations when needed ? Entering contract details in Encompass and handing file off to processing ? Communicate borrower conditions ? Ensure structure of the loan presents the best program based on the borrower?s financial circumstances. ? Review the file for any missing documentation that best supports approval.
Requirements: ? At least 3 years of mortgage experience ? Excellent written and verbal communication- primarily communicating with clients and business partners ? Encompass experience strongly preferred ? Experience reviewing completed 1003?s and requesting required documents for pre-approval from borrowers ? Experience reviewing credit/income/asset documentation and running AUS to issue a strong pre-approval letter (DU,LP) ? Experience calculating various income types: W-2, OT, Variable Pay, Schedule C, 1120-S, Schedule E Rental income ? In depth knowledge of guideline differences between Fannie, Freddie, FHA, USDA ? Experience with down payment assistance a plus ? Bilingual
