Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the claims department.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims in accordance with company standards and policies.
Develop and implement efficient and effective processes for claims processing.
Monitor and analyze claims data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations related to claims processing.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex claims issues and improve overall performance.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints related to claims.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Prepare and present reports on claims performance to senior management.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims-related activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
