No Fault Claims Adjuster

We are seeking an Auto Claims Examiner to join our growing team.

This position will be responsible primarily for the adjustment of first- and third-party auto property damage claims arising from general liability and auto liability coverages. The position also involves NY No-Fault (PIP) claims handling.

How You Will Contribute
? Coverage assessment and verification
? Investigate, evaluate, and bring to a disposition all non-litigated claims
? Assure the proper reserving of all losses
? Assign and manage the activities of independent adjusters and other vendors
? Work effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departments
? Identify subrogation potential
? Manage the subrogation process
? Participate in mediation and arbitration
? Preparing comprehensive claim correspondence
? Attend training classes and/or secure professional designations
? Handle NY PIP and Medical payments claims
? Make recommendations as to reserves and disposition of claims

Licenses and Certifications:
? Active New York State General Adjuster?s license (Series 17-70)

Skills & Experience to Be Successful
? Bachelor?s degree or life experience
? Experience in handling commercial automobile claims
? Professional telephone demeanor
? Proficient use of a PC
? 3 to 5 years of experience

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitable compensation for all team members.
