About the position

Cognizant Artificial Intelligence is seeking a highly qualified Azure Data Lead for an onsite position in Schaumburg, IL. This role requires 12 to 15 years of experience in Azure Data Lake Store, Azure DevOps, Python, Databricks, SQL, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Property & Casualty Insurance and will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable data solutions. This hybrid role demands a deep understanding of both technical and domain skills to drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities
? Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using Azure Data Lake Store ensuring efficient performance and security.

? Be responsible for the development and deployment of data pipelines and workflows using Databricks Workflows and PySpark.

? Provide technical expertise in Python and Databricks SQL to develop and optimize data processing scripts.

? Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

? Ensure seamless integration of data solutions with existing systems and applications.
,
? Monitor and solve data workflows to ensure data quality and reliability.
,
? Implement standard processes for data governance and compliance within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.

? Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve data processing efficiency and effectiveness.

? Mentor and guide junior team members encouraging a culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork.

? Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in data solutions.

? Conduct regular code reviews to ensure consistency to coding standards and best practices.

? Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders ensuring successful project delivery.

Requirements
? Possess a strong background in Azure Data Lake Store, Azure DevOps, Python, Databricks, SQL, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark.

? Demonstrate extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
