As the Senior Director of People Systems at SoFi, you will lead the strategic vision, evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions that enhance our employee experience and improve operational efficiency across the People team. In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution for our People technology ecosystem, from Workday to ServiceNow and beyond. You'll get to drive impactful change, empower our People team, and ensure our tools are optimized to best support our organization.
Responsibilities
? Create and lead a comprehensive, unified People technology roadmap with a focus on employee experience
,
? Align People technology investments with People and business priorities to ensure long-term scalability and maximized impact
,
? Oversee the technical implementation of ServiceNow for the People team, embedding the platform into key processes to enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience
,
? Drive adoption of ServiceNow, ensuring its capabilities are fully leveraged and integrated with existing systems
,
? Lead cross-functional evaluations of new and existing People technologies to ensure alignment and durability with operational needs and strategic goals
,
? Build frameworks for assessing technology performance, cost-effectiveness, and ROI
,
? Manage a portfolio of People systems, ensuring seamless integration, optimization, and support for end users
,
? Vendor management for our People technology ecosystem
,
? Lead and grow our existing People Systems team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and operational excellence
,
? Oversee Workday HCM optimization and expand the team's scope to include ServiceNow and other People technologies, enhancing capabilities across platforms
,
? Foster a culture of continuous improvement and develop team expertise through professional growth opportunities and best practices in People technology management
,
? Partner with stakeholders across the People team to identify pain points and opportunities for automation and enhancement
,
? Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders like IT, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure robust system performance, governance, and security compliance
Requirements
? 12+ years of experience working within a technical role in an HR function, with a proven track record of crafting and executing impactful technology strategies
,
? Experience building and scaling teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
,
? Hands-on experience with enterprise-level People systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and other People systems (e.g. LMS, ATS, etc.)
,
? A passion for innovation and exploring new tools and trends, including AI, to push boundaries with technology
,
? Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
,
? Deep understanding of People technology ecosystems, including system architecture, integrations, and best practices for optimization
,
? Experience with governance frameworks for managing and evaluating technology investments in a highly regulated environment
,
? Deep understanding of data governance and experience managing compliance with CCPA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations
,
? Ability to translate business objectives into technology solutions that drive measurable outcomes
Nice-to-haves
? Certification in People technologies (e.g., Workday Pro, ServiceNow certifications)
,
? Experience implementing and managing ServiceNow or other case management systems in a People team context
,
? Experience in high-growth tech or financial services organizations
Benefits
? Base pay range: $195,200.00 - $335,500.00
