We are looking for Senior Accountant who will manage general ledgers and financial reports for Udacity. This is a business critical role that requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative working style and the ability to execute with quality in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Our ideal Udacian has a bias for action, a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and can communicate complex information across all levels of the business.

What You?ll Do
? Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
? Oversee journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
? Partner and collaborate with Procurement to implement a purchasing order system.
? Assist with statutory reporting/annual reports and tax returns
? Work with the External Auditors to ensure a clean and timely year end audit
? Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
? Assist payroll filing, annual reports, and tax returns

About You
? Experience working in a growing fast paced environment, prior experience in SaaS is preferred
? Degree in Accounting or similar is required
? 5+ years of related accounting experience
? Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting
? Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
? Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills
? Advanced Microsoft Office skills and NetSuite experience highly desired
? Procurement system experience preferred
