As the Director of Process Transformation at USAA, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Business Strategy Analysts dedicated to enhancing the financial security of U.S. military members and their families. This position is not just about managing data; it?s about providing thought leadership through quantitative and qualitative analytics that inform strategic decisions across the business unit. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the analytic direction that enables proactive learning on industry trends, market developments, and USAA's strategic direction. Your insights will be crucial in shaping the business unit's approach to regulatory environments and macroeconomic trends. In this role, you will lead discussions with key partners to influence strategy development based on your analyses. You will oversee the identification of key business assumptions and hypotheses, developing an analytical framework to address business questions related to product strategy, pricing, marketing, sales, credit risk, distribution channels, and member experience. Your expert analytical skills will be essential in defining outcome measures, improving prioritization, and enhancing decision-making agility. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating strategic insights to senior leaders and stakeholders, using your interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive agreement and action. Additionally, you will build and manage a high-performing team, focusing on recruiting, development, retention, and performance management. Ensuring that risks associated with business activities are identified and controlled in accordance with compliance policies will also be a key part of your responsibilities. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the continental U.S., with occasional business travel required.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Finance, Economics or related discipline; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

? 8 years of experience in data and/or analytics or strategy consulting; OR Advanced Degree with 6 years of experience.

? 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
,
? Extensive experience identifying business needs and leading strategic plans driven by analysis.
,
? Expert analytical skills with experience in hypotheses-driven problem solving.
,
? Demonstrated experience influencing business decisions and improving results.
,
? Extensive experience in complex data analysis using tools like Excel, Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Snowflake, SAS, Adobe Analytics.
Nice-to-haves
? 5 years of experience leading fraud or claims process transformation.

? Strong understanding of financial crimes organization and processes.

? Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements related to fraud risk management.
