A Brief Overview The Accounts Payable, Senior Analyst, supports all accounts payable activities ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and expense reports, compliance to policies and procedures, and all associated tasks, performs data mining, analysis and development of metrics, supports the daily operations of the credit card products and systems, and recommends and participates in the development and implementation of process improvements. Hybrid Work Location - Chesterfield, MO What you will do Support the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment. Ensures compliance to all internal procedures and policies, IRS regulations/requirements and with Sarbanes-Oxley procedures. Prepares regular and ad hoc reports, analyses and metrics support policy compliance, vendor relationships and internal inquiries. Publishes monthly metric reports for management. Reviews and reconciles various accounts related to A/P, travel and expense, and credit cards. Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and expense reports. Monitors invoice match exceptions and works with Purchasing to resolve. Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries, and communicating resolution of discrepancies Maintains vendor master information in PeopleSoft. Supports A/P manager in the annual 1099 reporting process. Supports and provides backup to the Credit Card Manager. Engages directly with cardholders, managers and other internal and external stakeholders to assist with inquiries, problems, and requests. Enhances Accounts Payable capability by helping to develop and deliver processes, training, and technology and knowledge management tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience 5+ years? experience in accounting/finance 3+ years? accounts payable experience Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SQL/Query skills. Flexible w, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability. Intermediate level of investigative, analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to manage, mentor and develop support staff. Competent knowledge of proper internal controls and the ability to evaluate and implement change as required. Competent knowledge of accounting/finance theory and application and general ledger reporting. Ability to foster a teamwork and customer-centric environment. Intermediate oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge. Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, achieve tight deadlines in challenging work environment Ability to work well in a team environment and participate in department/team projects. Compensation Range: $63,400.00 - $90,050.00 Annual Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
