About the position

Global Credit Finance (GCF) Loan Operations provides essential operational support to the GCF division of Markets and Financing. We are seeking a Loan Servicing Unit (LSU) Associate to manage and service credit facilities on the Bank's loan accounting system. This role involves processing cash transfers and performing reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and managed. The position allows for a hybrid work model, enabling you to balance your work between home and the office according to your needs and the requirements of the role. In this role, you will help build resilience within the team and execute day-to-day deliverables to the best of your ability. As an Assistant Vice President, you will coordinate the team to update the loan accounting system for all new, renewing, and terminating counterparties and lines of credit. You will analyze documentation to determine the necessary data entry into the loan accounting system and review transactional documentation to process principal, interest, and fee transactions. Additionally, you will execute cash movements via internal transfers and Fed wire/SWIFT, perform secondary reviews and approvals of daily transactions, and reconcile general ledger accounts while documenting and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. You will also assist with management of loan accounting system issues in collaboration with the GCF IT support team and handle regulatory reporting requests, audit requests, and assurance reviews. Your ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues will be essential in this role. Furthermore, you will manage the operation of the LIQ and SVS booking platforms, identifying enhancement possibilities and working with internal IT partners and business stakeholders to ensure ongoing performance and functionality within the systems. You will develop and enforce procedures and production schedules to ensure timely and accurate completion of servicing functions, manage customer concerns, and ensure adherence to regulations and policies. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed.

Responsibilities

? Identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues

? Execute on strategic projects and initiatives in support of the Loan Servicing function
,
? Manage the operation of the LIQ and SVS booking platforms, identifying enhancement possibilities and working with internal IT partners and business stakeholders

? Develop and enforce procedures, and production schedules to assure timely, accurate completion of servicing functions

? Manage the resolution of any customer concerns
,
? Ensure adherence to regulations and policies

? Assume additional responsibilities as requested by management

Requirements
? 5+ years of loan operations and servicing support
,
? Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services, and accounting principles
,
? Proficiency with Loan IQ required
,
? Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required; macro experience would be desirable
,
? Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines
,
? Prior banking and/or lending knowledge required
