Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to the financial health of multiple enterprises.

Key Responsibilities: ? Prepare and file local, state and federal tax declarations for various enterprises. ? Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments. ? Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial records. ? Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. ? Generate financial reports, including but not limited to, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. ? Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. ? Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. ? Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets. ? Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support strategic business decisions. ? Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed. ? Provide financial advice and insights to support strategic decision-making. ? Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ? Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred. ? Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in managing multiple enterprises. ? In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles. ? Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Sage 50) and Microsoft Office Suite. ? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
