Job Description: Christian Counselor

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Christian Counselor to join our team and provide counseling services to individuals and families. As a Christian Counselor, you will integrate psychological expertise with faith-based principles to guide and support clients in overcoming challenges and achieving emotional and spiritual growth. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering therapeutic interventions in alignment with Christian values.

Responsibilities: ? Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using a faith-based approach. ? Collaborate with clients to identify and address emotional, psychological, and spiritual concerns. ? Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, beliefs, and needs. ? Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate psychological techniques and Christian principles. ? Provide guidance on issues such as relationship difficulties, grief, anxiety, depression, and personal growth. ? Offer spiritual guidance, prayer, and scripture-based insights during counseling sessions. ? Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. ? Regularly participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development. ? Stay updated on psychological research and Christian counseling practices. ? Foster a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for clients.

Qualifications: ? Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. ? State licensure as a counselor or therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) is required. ? Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services, preferably with a focus on integrating Christian values. ? Strong understanding of Christian theology, principles, and scriptures. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Empathetic and non-biased approach to counseling. ? Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural setting. ? Respect for client confidentiality and ethical guidelines. ? Commitment to personal spiritual growth and ongoing professional development.
