The Senior RX Clinical Programs Pharmacist (VSP/PT) plays a crucial role in enhancing health outcomes through the integration of clinical programs focused on prescription drugs. This position involves overseeing medication therapy, conducting comprehensive medication reviews, and optimizing prescription drug use for patients on multiple medications. The pharmacist will engage with patients through education and outreach, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies while influencing departmental strategies and making decisions on complex issues independently.
Responsibilities
? Oversee medication therapy and strategy on comprehensive medication reviews.

? Optimize prescription drug use for patients taking multiple medications.

? Drive health awareness through Rx Education and targeted campaigns.

? Place outbound calls to confirm patient adherence to medications and provide counseling.

? Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on complex issues regarding project components.
Requirements
? Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree.

? Active pharmacist license in the state(s) of practice.

? Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on schedule.
,
? Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
,
? Ability to work independently and within a team setting to achieve goals and meet deadlines.

? Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.

? Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

? Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel.

? Previous experience with pharmacy benefits management.
