IN - Pharmacy Shipping Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions. ? Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner. ? Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs. ? Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order. ? Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws. ? Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures. ? Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements ? Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site. ? Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: ? High School diploma or equivalent ? One (1) year of logistics experience ? Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
? One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
? Ability to lift 20lbs
? Ability to work in a standing environment
? Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
? Ability to perform repetitious work accurately
? Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
? Ability to learn from a variety of techniques
? Ability to follow established process flows
? Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations
? Attention to detail
? Work independently with little supervision and meet daily expectations
