Role Overview:
seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our IT Effectiveness team. This role is critical in pulling HR resource data, financial data, and agile product team data, and merging them into a cohesive dataset that our senior leaders can use to make strategic decisions. The successful candidate will analyze and interpret complex data sets, providing actionable insights to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
Core Responsibilities: Data Collection and Integration: o Gather and compile HR resource data, financial data, and agile product team data from various sources. o Merge and integrate data into a cohesive and comprehensive dataset. o Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Data Analysis: o Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. o Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data findings. o Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Collaboration and Communication: o Work closely with HR, finance, and agile product teams to understand their data needs and challenges. o Collaborate with senior leaders to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. o Communicate data findings and insights effectively to all relevant stakeholders. Business Value Enabled: Enhanced Decision-Making: By providing accurate and actionable data insights, this role will enable senior leaders to make informed strategic decisions. Increased Transparency: Clear and comprehensive data visualizations will facilitate better communication and understanding among teams and stakeholders. Preferred Skills and Capabilities: Education: o Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: o Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within HR, finance, or agile product team environments. o Proven track record of successfully analyzing and interpreting complex data sets. o Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Skills: o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and insights from complex data sets. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly and effectively. o Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. o Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships. o Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Technical Proficiency: o Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices. o Proficiency in using data integration and ETL tools. o Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or similar. Language Skills: o Proficiency in speaking and writing in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams. Preferred Qualifications: o Certification in Data Analysis (e.g., CAP, DASCA) or related fields. o Experience with HR, financial, and agile product team data. o Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques and machine learning.
