Staff Accountant ? Payroll Specialist (Remote)

Luna Physical Therapy is seeking a Staff Accountant ? Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, tax compliance, benefits reconciliation, and key accounting functions. This role ensures accurate payroll execution while supporting financial reporting and month-end close processes.

How you will have an impact
? Prepare bank reconciliations and match NetSuite transactions.
? Manage corporate credit card programs and reconcile transactions.
? Process bi-weekly payroll, review reports, and compile GL entries.
? Review timesheets for accuracy and compliance with state labor laws.
? Maintain time off policies in ADP.
? Assist People Operations with hires, terminations, and promotions.
? Support benefits enrollment and reconcile benefits invoices with payroll deductions.
? Maintain state payroll tax accounts and set up new accounts as needed.
? Process accounts payable, including invoices and expense reports.
? Maintain supporting payroll documentation.
? Implement process improvements to streamline functions.
? Support year-end closing and assist with ad hoc projects.

What you can offer Luna
? 1+ years of experience with Accounting & AP systems (NetSuite highly preferred).
? Experience with Excel and Google Suite preferred.
? Associate?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
? Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience; multi-location experience strongly preferred.
? Experience within the Healthcare industry is preferred.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization (internal & external).
? Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment, new systems, software, and processes.

$55,000 - $60,000 a year
Salary commensurate on location and experience
