The Senior Accountant Investor ing position at Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. is a full-time role focused on maintaining controls and ensuring the accuracy of external investor reports, investor guidelines, and related account analysis. The Senior Accountant will assist the Investor ing team in resolving issues identified in daily and monthly reporting activities, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and compliant with relevant guidelines. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for comprehending general ledger entries and conducting loan account analyses related to securitized or serviced loan activity. Effective communication is key, as the role requires interaction with all levels of management, investors, and trustees regarding reporting questions and cash distributions. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will train and mentor new and current team members on Investor ing processes and procedures, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team. The position also requires the interpretation of documentation and guidelines that define securitization structures or GSE requirements, as well as the creation and maintenance of detailed management reports. The Senior Accountant will perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Investor ing department.
Responsibilities
? Maintain controls and ensure accuracy of external investor reports and guidelines.

Requirements
? Four-year degree required with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field.

? 4-6 years' experience in the field or in a related area.

? 1 year of leadership/management experience.

? Exhibits high level of judgment and discretion.

? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other applications.

? Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and in person.

? Capable of gathering facts accurately, analyzing causes, evaluating alternate solutions, and arriving at sound conclusions.
