Key Responsibilities
? Review mortgage loan applications and gather necessary documentation for processing.
? Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files according to regulatory requirements and company policies.
? Utilize Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) such as Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) to assess loan eligibility.
? Verify applicant information, including income, credit history, and property details, using industry tools and resources.
? Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to obtain additional information as needed.
? Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate timely processing and closing of loans, leveraging processes like ACE (Automated Collateral Evaluation) and PIW (Property Inspection Waiver).
? Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the loan processing cycle, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
? 3+ years of experience in mortgage processing or related field.
? 3+ years of experience using a LOS (Encompass preferred)
? Must have experience with order outs and calling third parties
? Familiar with using office applications
? Proficient communication skills
? Great personality
? Finance and accounting experience is a plus
? Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and guidelines, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements.
