About the position

The IT Service Readiness Coordinator plays a crucial role in the healthcare industry by providing expertise in strategic and operational service readiness. This position is responsible for designing, launching, and executing programs that support initiatives within the changing landscape of healthcare. The coordinator will be instrumental in delivering all aspects of the IT operational service readiness framework, particularly for complex, enterprise-level, cross-functional programs and projects. As a champion of methodologies and implementation, the incumbent will ensure that the organization is well-prepared for the operational demands of IT services. In this role, the coordinator will install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain all computer systems relevant to supported applications. This includes performing operating system administration, user account management, and disaster recovery strategies. The coordinator will provide subject matter expertise in areas such as change management, project management, communication, value realization, training, and go-live preparedness, all of which contribute to the effective accomplishment of IT operational service readiness activities in support of strategic initiative goals. The coordinator will develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoot incidents, and support root cause analysis. They will conduct IT operational service readiness impact assessments and collaborate with the enterprise project management office (ePMO) and other stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks. Proactively identifying resources, the coordinator will build and lead cross-functional business teams to deliver value to supported project teams. They will also provide stakeholder perspectives to leadership and project teams, advocating for stakeholder needs and resolving or escalating issues in a timely manner. Additionally, the coordinator will automate the installation and configuration of applications in both development and production environments, ensuring that all defined IT operational service readiness deliverables are completed on time and within budget. They will report on project and program change management activities to the steering committee and support the development of IT operational service readiness skills throughout the organization by providing guidance on change management best practices. The coordinator will evaluate new systems through in-depth testing, research software products, and determine systems integration issues, all while minimizing exposure and risk on projects and programs. Continuous improvement of the IT operational service readiness framework and supporting capabilities will also be a key focus of this role.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

? 5 years of software, hardware, and/or systems engineering related experience.
,
? ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred within 180 days of hire.
,
? Knowledge of programming languages and web-based technologies.
,
? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
,
? Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams.
,
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Ability to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands.
