Responsibilities: ? Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development ? Provide early intervention and support for children with special needs ? Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment ? Conduct assessments to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement ? Collaborate with other classroom teachers to support children's educational goals ? Utilize effective teaching strategies to enhance literacy education ? Provide small group academic support as needed
Requirements: ? Appropriate Certification for grade/subject area ? Successful prior teaching experience in grades K-8 and/or K-12 ? Must pass CHRU background check ? Must have recent Tuberculosis screening
Nice to have:
? Previous experience working with children in a school setting
? Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
? Familiarity with special education techniques and strategies
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
? Excellent organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management
? Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
