About the Role
The Company is in need of an Assistant Vice President Underwriter Territory Manager for General Casualty. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of underwriters who specialize in various premises-driven risks, including habitational, hospitality, lessor?s risk, and real estate. This role involves underwriting both new and renewal submissions, maintaining underwriting standards for profitability, and fostering relationships with wholesale brokers. Additionally, the role includes market engagement and occasional travel to support the marketing of the company's insurance products.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience in underwriting general casualty lines, and a proven track record of team leadership.
