Remote Senior Financial Analyst (Special Projects) | WFH

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our dedicated team in support of a critical government client. This role is positioned within a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment where you will have the opportunity to engage in strategic initiatives, collaborate with executive leadership, and make significant contributions to data-driven decisions that enhance pivotal healthcare programs.
Key Responsibilities
? Develop and nurture relationships while providing support to executive-level clients on various projects involving program planning and project management for strategic initiatives.
? Implement healthcare projects by delivering strategic insights, including summaries and recommendations aimed at improving operational efficiency and meeting key performance goals.
? Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to transform accounting, budgetary, and manpower data into comprehensive visual reports that aid leadership in making informed decisions.
? Leverage analytical skills to refine processes, create functional area studies, and enforce effective policies and procedures.
? Assist department leadership with administrative support when necessary.
Required Skills
? Comprehensive understanding of Military Health System (MHS) programs that are supported by Department of Health Program (DHP) appropriations.
? Considerable experience within the Military Health System.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability in preparing presentations for executive-level stakeholders.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Familiarity with GFEBS and/or DEAMS systems.
? Knowledge of Performance Planning and its influence on an MTF?s budget.
? Understanding of outpatient and inpatient workload methodologies and calculations.
? Awareness of Federal and DoD regulations, including: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense FAR (DFAR), DoD Financial Management policies, Office of the Secretary of Defense regulations, and Defense Finance and Accounting Services manuals.
Qualifications
? A bachelor?s degree is required.
? A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, particularly within the Military Health System (MHS) or Department of Defense (DoD).
