The Above Property Rooms Controller is a part-time, temporary position that operates remotely, primarily responsible for completing front desk checklist tasks on behalf of a portfolio of hotels. This role is crucial in ensuring that hotel operations run smoothly and efficiently, particularly in managing guest experiences and coordinating with hotel teams. The position requires strong communication skills to build successful relationships with hotel staff and internal stakeholders, ensuring that the needs of each hotel are met effectively. In this role, the controller will engage in daily communications with hotel teams to understand their needs and participate in regular stand-up meetings to review priority tasks and upcoming events. This proactive approach helps in developing and managing key stakeholder relationships, acting as a liaison between the property and regional or corporate systems support when necessary. The controller will also be responsible for organizing and coordinating pre-arrival planning, which includes running reports to identify guest preferences and special occasions, reviewing arrivals, and blocking reservations for VIP guests. Additionally, the role involves executing digital guest experiences, processing mobile check-ins and key requests, and managing customer care cases to ensure a seamless experience for guests. Additional responsibilities may include performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of hotel operations, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The position offers a salary range of $17.90 to $28.17 per hour, with various benefits available to employees, including a 401(k) plan, stock purchase plan, and discounts at Marriott properties.
Responsibilities
? Communicate daily with hotel teams to understand needs of hotel.

? Participate in a weekly or daily stand up with hotel to review priority tasks and/or upcoming events.

? Develop and manage internal key stakeholder relationships in a proactive manner.

? Act as a liaison between property and regional/corporate systems support when necessary.

? Run the GPS report and identify Bonvoy preferences/personalized information/special occasions/redemption stays.

? Review Arrivals Dashboard in GXP for today +2 days and block reservations with special request codes.

? Follow guidelines from property leadership to determine blocking process for Elite/notable/VIP guests.

? Send Pre-Arrival Emails and communicate to property when blocking is complete.

? Process Mobile Check-in and Mobile Key requests.
,
? Process Mobile Chat and dispatch chat requests.
,
? Review room availability including oversold nights and out of order rooms.
,
? Review negative cases report in GXP and block rooms for guests on the Negative Cases Report, ensuring room is inspected prior to arrival.
Requirements
