About the position

The Financial Crime Solution Enablement Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of advanced financial crime detection and prevention solutions. This role involves analyzing financial crime trends, evaluating the effectiveness of current systems, and recommending improvements. The analyst collaborates with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to enhance the organization's ability to detect and prevent financial crimes. This position requires strong subject matter expertise to drive program requirements and progress program controls. In this role, the analyst will leverage advanced business, analytical, and technical knowledge to participate or lead discussions with cross-functional teams to understand and collaborate on highly complex business objectives and influence solution strategies. The analyst will apply advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems that are typically medium to large scale, with significant impact on current and/or future business strategy. Innovative and scientific/quantitative analytical approaches will be utilized to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to address business objectives and drive appropriate change. The analyst will also be responsible for translating recommendations into communication materials to effectively present to various levels of management, incorporating visualization techniques to support relevant points of analysis and ease understanding for less technical audiences. Identifying and gathering relevant and quality data sources required to fully address problems for the recommended strategy through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA) is crucial. The role also involves integrating and transforming disparate data sources and determining appropriate data hygiene techniques to apply. Thorough documentation of assumptions, methodology, validation, and testing will facilitate peer reviews and compliance requirements. Staying informed on current data and analytics trends, such as Cloud, Data Mining, Python, Neural Networks, Sensor data, IoT, and Streaming/NRT data, is essential. The analyst will identify opportunities for continued learning in the data and analytics space, whether through informal or formal education. Ensuring risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures is also a key responsibility.

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in a quantitative analytics field or 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics.

? 6 years of data & analytics experience or a combination of 4 years of data & analytics experience and up to 2 years of progressive functional business relevant experience.
,
? Advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field and 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience.

? Demonstrates advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques.
,
? Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and relevant industry data & methods.
,
? Experience with new and emerging data sets and incorporation into new insights.

? Strong Financial Crime Experience in Prevention, Detection, Operations, and Technology.

? Experience in financial crime prevention, compliance, risk management, or a related field.

? Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Fraud Examiner).
