FIRM PROFILE
We are a small but growing firm that operates in a home office environment in Southwest Idaho. We are looking for a team member to help with QuickBooks Online Managerial Accounting. We service small to medium-sized businesses and nonprofits. Must be LGBTQ+ friendly. This job is cloud-based and very collaborative with our US-based team.
Hours are Monday to Friday 30-40 hours per week. Can be somewhat flexible.
Pay: $65-85k per year. Hourly based upon salary.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves as an administrative lead and coach for others within the organization while maintaining positive financial operations, office management, and administration. Ensures a high level of accuracy and customer service while instilling teamwork through productivity and efficiency. Perform all job duties with excellent attention to detail.
Finance/Bookkeeping
Responsible for maintaining financial support functions for many clients to ensure efficient cash flow management. Administer all aspects of payroll utilizing the payroll systems (QuickBooks, ADP, etc.), AP/AR, GL, J/E?s, Categorizing, Reconciling, Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting. Ability to create and compute amortization schedules, perform basic mathematical functions in all units of measure, calculate figures and compute rates, ratios, percentages, discounts, interest, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Administration/Operations
Coordinate correspondence to facilitate ongoing communications with clients and in-house teams. Maintain an environment to promote efficiency. Maintain records and organize filing and archive systems to facilitate the expeditious retrieval of information. Answer incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate associates, and manage the flow of correspondence. Possesses strong organizational skills.

Assist other Team Members, when necessary, while working positively and cooperatively with a diverse group of individuals. Demonstrate flexibility to prioritize, assign, and perform duties as appropriate. Becomes highly respected by team members as a leader and coach.
Customer Satisfaction
Assist customers with concerns while ensuring confidentiality and privacy and communicating courteously and respectfully. Answer and refer telephone calls or other inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communications. Consistently evaluate work and determine if further steps are needed to meet company/customer expectations.

Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing situations to meet current needs, reprioritizing work as necessary. Organize job functions and project management software to be able to effectively complete varied assignments within established time frames. Consistently demonstrate the ability to take the initiative to make decisions/choices without direct supervision.

Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments. Sustain excellent time management skills with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in a high-paced environment.
Adherence to Policies
Ability to maintain confidential information. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Comply and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures. Be able to pass an extensive background check and random drug tests.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of experience in QuickBooks Online, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and payroll preparation, as demonstrated by work experience and education. Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Excel. Accounting degree, CPA, or CPA candidate preferred.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient with 10-Key; Type 55+ WPM with 92% accuracy; Ability to use personal computer utilizing Microsoft Office and other general office equipment.
