The VP of Finance is responsible for implementing financial processes and systems as Veeam continues to grow. The team member has proven success developing robust financial reporting processes, financial controls and insightful KPI dashboards necessary for a fast-moving leading software/SaaS company. Experience leading a company through an IPO process and operating as a public company post IPO. This leadership role actively partners with other leaders across the Veeam in addition to leading finance organization. The VP finance has a passion for how the finance function can transform the strategy, accountability, and operations of the Company as a whole. VP, Finance will build and lead a team responsible for the company?s senior management and Board or Directors reporting, as well as be a key strategic partner to the CFO and Sr Management building strategic value-added reporting for key performance indicators. The position reports directly to the CFO.

Position can be based remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities: ? Ensure an effective and robust finance and planning infrastructure: manage the Corporate FP&A team as well as the Finance Business Partners that support the business functions ? Building and maintaining the financial planning cadence on a rolling monthly and quarterly basis ? Develop integrated and scalable financial systems that provide highly predictable and understandable financial results ? Ensure timely and accurate budget vs actual analysis and future projections ? Work with leaders of business groups to ensure forecasts and financial targets will be achieved ? Responsible for creating KPI and dashboard framework such that all KPIs have definitions and are integrated into the Company?s financial model ? Ensure non-gaap financial metrics are properly defined, measured, and reported on a consistent basis ? Coordinate and prepare quarterly board package for review and analysis by the Board of Directors ? Analyze the company?s financial results ? profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets; Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management ? Build detailed financial modeling processes that are consistent across Company ? Build integrated and scalable financial systems that provide highly predictable and understandable financial results ? Build monthly and quarter reporting templates for senior management and Board consumption ? Work cross-functionally across the finance organization to track budget versus actual performance ? Consolidate and understand key variances versus budgeted performance ? Provide input to FP&A and Accounting teams around expected outcomes; Updated targeted outcomes monthly and highlighted areas of risk and opportunity versus our corporate plan ? Produce timely, accurate, and actionable analyses, reports, and forecasts; Highlight key performance indicators and drivers of change within the financial results. Review insights with management to enable appropriate business adjustments as needed ? Manage and prioritize requests for resources and investments; Evaluate and recommend based on return-on-investment analysis; Track and review actual performance to ensure achievement of business case ? Create theatre and product-based P&L reviews; Identify areas of investment opportunity and potential cost savings ? Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders across the organization to provide pragmatic financial insights and recommendations to drive bookings and revenue growth while scaling the business to increase operating leverage and cash flow ? Lead and mentor the FP&A team by providing respected leadership, implementing best practices, and demonstrating Veeam?s core values ? Provide strategic financial guidance and business modeling around M&A, corporate development, capital financing options to support company growth needs ? Work closely with internal and external investor relations team

Requirements: ? Bachelor?s degree in accounting, Finance or other finance and business-related fields. An MBA is highly desirable ? Strategic Finance Expertise: FP&A leader with a demonstrated track record of success and career progression with experience working in public companies as well as private or private equity owned companies. Experience with business modeling and advising on M&A, corporate development, and capital financing (e.g. IPO) to enable growth ? Finance IPO Expertise: Experience in operational modelling, technical knowledge of financial statements, driver-based modelling, and reporting techniques ? Desired Industry Experience:?Experience in software, SaaS or recurring revenue business models with a strong understanding of key value drivers ? Finance Experience at Scale: FP&A leadership experience or relevant financial leadership experience within a successful and complex $250M+ company ? Financial and Operational Excellence: A strong operational finance grounding to ensure financial and operational excellence; a demonstrable track record of having built, installed, and continuously improved systems and teams that support a high-growth and scalable finance capability ? Global Experience: International experience and global sensitivities ? Strong Communicator & Influencer:? Excels in written and visual communication. Able to distil complex analyses into concise, actionable outputs and present to all levels of management ? Strong knowledge of ? and experience implementing ? planning and forecasting systems such as Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
