The Technical Analyst Producer Origination position is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals looking to re-enter the workforce after a career break. This role is based in Decatur, IL or Minneapolis, MN and will report directly to the Director of Customer Risk. The primary focus of this position is to support producer grain origination activities across multiple ADM businesses through effective management and assistance on various projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous process improvements and providing technical expertise that aligns with ADM's overall producer origination efforts. In this role, the Technical Analyst will leverage detailed analytics and technical capabilities to ensure that ADM remains competitive in the agricultural commercial space. The position requires a combination of business acumen and strong communication skills to effectively influence how the organization addresses business challenges. The role is part of a 12-week paid returnship program, designed for individuals who have taken a career break of at least two years for various reasons, including family care, military service, community service, or entrepreneurship. The Technical Analyst will maintain subject matter expertise in all applications related to current producer origination systems and platforms, while also staying informed about new and upcoming technologies. This includes serving as the Microsoft Power BI technical expert, capable of transforming business case concepts into practical report designs. The role involves data mining, enhancing data collection procedures, processing and validating data integrity, and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and solutions. Additionally, the Technical Analyst will act as a liaison between business and technical teams on special projects, ensuring outstanding internal customer service and problem-solving for system applications. The position also entails leading marketing automation efforts from a data management perspective and contributing to continuous improvement processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation and process improvement, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
? Maintain subject matter expertise in all applications for current producer origination systems/platforms.

? Serve as the Producer Origination Microsoft Power BI technical expert.

? Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable primary and secondary data sources.

? Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.

? Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis.

? Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.

? Serve as a conduit between business and technical spaces on special projects.

? Provide outstanding internal customer service and problem-solving for system applications.

? Proactively establish and maintain professional internal and external relationships.

? Lead marketing automation efforts from a data management standpoint.

? Give input on continuous improvement processes and help with execution of prioritized improvement initiatives.
Requirements
? Preferred degree in Computer Science or relevant field.

? Minimum of 3 years' work experience.
,
? High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
,
? Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
,
? Proficient computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

? Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills.

? Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.

? Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.

? Ability to learn and understand new software or applications necessary to perform essential responsibilities authoritatively.
