The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst role is a critical position within the Corporate Payroll teams, primarily focused on ensuring the effective functionality of Oracle Cloud HCM for time and labor calculations, periodic payrolls, and tax reporting. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with both internal and external partners to gather requirements for the Business Requirement Document. The analyst will be responsible for solutioning and resolving defects, recommending and implementing enhancements, and conducting both unit and user acceptance testing. Additionally, the role involves creating change control documentation to ensure smooth transitions during system updates and enhancements. In this position, the Senior Payroll Systems Analyst will leverage their expertise in complex payroll and timekeeping functions, alongside a foundational understanding of benefits, compensation, general auditing, payroll tax, and accounting functions. This knowledge is essential for providing technical support to payroll, payroll tax, timekeeping, and accounting teams and systems. The analyst will operate under minimal supervision, making informed technical decisions regarding the interpretation of data, procedures, policies, and compliance with tax and Department of Labor (DOL) laws. The responsibilities extend to ongoing system analysis, managing Oracle Cloud HCM system updates, and enhancing in-house payroll, tax filing, and timekeeping systems. The analyst will lead or support various projects, including acquisition integrations, benefits initiatives, system upgrades, and year-end processes. They will also serve as the first point of escalation for payroll supervisors regarding high-level inquiries or system errors during bi-weekly payroll processing. The role includes maintaining the time and labor system, testing new setups, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with DOL and company policies. The analyst will also support tax reporting, year-end W-2 processing, and Multi-Worksite reporting. They will interpret, test, and implement updates to Oracle Cloud HCM, develop methodologies for application integration, and collaborate with the Payroll team on change management activities. Furthermore, the analyst will prepare detailed design specifications for automated payroll programs and provide payroll reports using Oracle Business Intelligence to meet the needs of various departments.
Responsibilities
? Support the Corporate Payroll teams by ensuring appropriate system functionality of Oracle Cloud HCM for time & labor calculations, periodic payrolls, and tax reporting.

? Research high-level inquiries or system errors for bi-weekly payroll processing as the first point of escalation for payroll supervisors.

? Lead testing in special payrolls, including PTO payout and bonus payroll processes.

? Maintain the time & labor system and test all new system setups, troubleshooting issues as needed.

? Support bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly tax reporting, year-end W-2 processing, and Multi-Worksite reporting.

? Interpret, test, and implement all Oracle Cloud HCM updates and major system version upgrades.

? Prepare detailed design and programming specifications for automated payroll programs and interfaces.

? Provide payroll reports using Oracle Business Intelligence to meet specific needs of local business units or corporate departments.

? Update and maintain payroll-related configuration and tables such as companies, pay groups, earnings, deductions, and taxation definitions.

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience required.

? 6 years of experience in a Human Resources, HR Technology, Payroll, or Time & Labor systems role.
,
? 2 years of professional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud - payroll and/or time & labor modules.
,
? CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
