The Digital Support Specialist position at Glidewell Laboratories is based in Memphis, TN, and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a Saturday rotation required once a month. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of CNC equipment and production machinery, which are essential to the company's dental technology services. The specialist will be responsible for repairing and maintaining minor and routine issues with CNC equipment and production machinery, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally to meet production demands. In this role, the specialist will examine and gather data on equipment and machinery issues to identify fundamental problems, escalating issues as necessary. Routine maintenance is a key responsibility, which includes calibrating, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance on digital equipment such as CNC milling machines, 3D scanners, and 3D printers. The specialist will also observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate sources of problems, utilizing precision measuring and testing instruments as needed. Additionally, the position involves rigging and moving production equipment throughout the shop, installing and setting up new equipment, and providing onsite and phone support for external customers. The specialist will utilize a ticketing system to create, record, and update information relevant to equipment repair and maintenance activities, as well as check in and out inventory, tools, and supplies. Maintaining the proper working condition of company-issued tools, supplies, and vehicles is also part of the job, which may require travel to various locations and remote labs to provide equipment and machinery support. Other related duties and projects may be assigned as business needs require, under the direction of management.
Responsibilities

Requirements
? Minimum one (1) year of experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment, electrical equipment or relevant experience.

? Previous experience working with CNC machines or similar equipment, preferred.

? Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.

? Demonstrated knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMPs).

? Demonstrated knowledge of core mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

? Valid documentation to travel domestically required.
