Responsibilities
? Play a critical role in providing a safety net that supports better outcomes for Oregonians.

? Provide resources that support individual and family stability.
,
? Determine eligibility for people applying for various programs and benefits through interviewing, gathering and assessing information.

Requirements
? Two years of experience determining eligibility for an agency program by interviewing to assess the needs of clients and interpreting and applying the policies, rules, and guidelines applicable to the client's situation.

? An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience relative to the class concept.
,
? Bilingual in Vietnamese and English.

? Experience conducting work that requires attention to detail, particularly with data entry and reviewing documents.

? Experience adapting communication style to explain complex information such as rules or procedures verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.

? Experience handling confidential or sensitive situations and information with unwavering professionalism.

? Experience completing tasks or projects timely in a fast-paced, high volume business setting.

? Experience providing services with respect and compassion for community members who have historically been marginalized, underserved, in crisis, or disadvantaged.
