Property Accountant $80/K plus bonus

This Job will offer:

The Opportunity:

• This is a direct hire role at a prominent Boston based Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)

• The REIT is looking for a Property Accountant that can join the Accounting team right away

Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparing annual property budgets for the upcoming year as well as year-end audits

• Reviews G/L monthly to verify accuracy of transaction postings

• Preparing journal entries, financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Participates in monthly meetings to review cash flow projections and financial statements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business

• 4+ years of work experience in a related field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• The pay for Property Accountant is up to $80,000 per year + bonus
