Description What You’ll Do • Lead the QA strategy – Develop and refine processes to proactively identify and address quality issues. • Implement automation – Build and optimize test frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability. • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Community Success teams to enhance the user experience. • Identify and resolve issues – Analyze defects, troubleshoot problems, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies. • Ensure high-quality releases – Conduct rigorous testing to maintain product stability and reliability. Job Details • Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager • Location: Remote • Commitment: Part-time contractor (10-20 hours/week) • Start Date: ASAP (negotiable) • Compensation: $20 - $40/hour, with a review after 180 days • Availability: Flexible, with the expectation of joining meetings during business hours (M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM CT) Must-Have Qualifications ✅ • 2+ years of QA experience in software testing or a related field. • Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving issues. • Experience with testing methodologies and tools, including automated testing frameworks. • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively. • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a startup environment with fast-paced development cycles. • Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). • Experience with bug tracking and test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). • Knowledge of SQL for database validation. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI). • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
