Sales Director – Health Tech (LIS systems)
A growing HealthTech company based in New York, focused on building smarter, data-driven solutions for diagnostics, is looking for a Head of Sales (must be based in the US and be authorised to work in the US) to take charge of the commercial efforts across the US. This is a key leadership role. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, managing a small team, and helping us build strong, lasting relationships with clients across the healthcare and diagnostics space.
What you'll be doing:
• Build and implement our go-to-market strategy for the US across our product portfolio.
• Lead a focused sales team (2 people), helping them prioritize and execute effectively.
• Drive the full sales cycle—from identifying leads to closing deals—while aligning commercial efforts with company goals.
• Develop partnerships and grow existing accounts in the clinical and diagnostic lab space.
• Represent the company at key industry events and conferences.
• Act as a key link between the market and our product team—bringing structured feedback that helps shape product direction.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure commercial and product efforts are aligned.
What we're looking for:
• At least 5 years of experience selling medical or scientific software or services.
• (Relevant industries might include healthcare, biotech, pharma, agtech, or chemicals.)
• Good understanding of the US clinical lab market—who the players are, how decisions get made, and where the space is heading.
• Strong commercial instincts: someone who knows how to structure a sales process, hit goals, and close complex deals.
• Experience developing partnerships and working closely with clients over time.
• A background in selling digital products or platforms.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, scaling environments.
