Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist (Jewelry Business)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports for leadership review.
• Manage expense reporting and ensure timely employee reimbursements.
• Process weekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Track and manage employee PTO and leave balances.
• Handle payroll-related questions from employees and provide support during onboarding.
• Receive, review, and pay vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Set up payroll accounts for new employees and ensure they are correctly onboarded into PTO and payroll systems.
Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping (QuickBooks Online proficiency required).
• Experience processing payroll (ADP experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounts payable processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.

• Previous experience in a small business or boutique setting.
