Freelance Paid Social Strategist (Remote)
Position Overview As a Paid Social Strategist Freelancer, you'll bring hands-on experience and strategic thinking to the development, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns. You will collaborate closely with internal account stakeholders to deliver strong performance outcomes for our clients across various paid social platforms.
You will be the subject matter expert for all things Paid Social on your assigned accounts, owning end-to-end strategy, and performance analysis. This is a part-time, freelance role ideal for a self-motivated digital marketer who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. We are looking for someone to help with a client 8 hours per week.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the Paid Social subject matter expert (SME) on client accounts, leading all strategic and tactical executionCollaborate with internal stakeholders to align Paid Social efforts with broader marketing and business goalsOversee account budgeting, pacing, and performance metrics to ensure campaigns are on track and optimized toward client KPIsLeverage learnings and historical data to inform strategy, audience targeting, creative direction, and platform diversificationMonitor and manage campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and SnapchatWork with the Paid Social Manager to ensure smooth implementation of campaigns, from ad set creation to launch and optimizationRegularly analyze performance data and prepare reporting insightsStay informed of the latest platform updates, trends, and best practices to keep strategies ahead of the curve
QualificationsExperience2+ years of experience managing paid social media campaigns, ideally with a focus on eCommerce clients1+ year of experience in a digital agency or fast-paced client services environment preferredHands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager, with the ability to build campaigns, audiences, ad sets, and creatives from scratchPlatform experience with TikTok, Snapchat, and PinterestBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldStrong proficiency in Google Workspace (G-Suite) or Microsoft Office toolsDetail-oriented, data-driven, and self-directedAble to thrive independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environmentPassionate about creative strategy and testing new platforms, ad formats, and campaign structures
