We are seeking a highly skilled Excel Automation Developer to enhance our internal Excel-based database tool used for tracking customer contracts and software deployments. This is a one-time project focused on optimizing the existing spreadsheet to reduce manual data entry for our Solutions Architect team and improve overall usability. Project Goals Automate data entry in specific cells by pulling values from other locations or linked sources. Enhance the user interface (e.g., forms, controls, streamlined navigation) using VBA for a smoother experience. Preserve historical records so that past data cannot be accidentally altered or corrupted, ensuring a reliable record of our work with each customer. Improve efficiency so the Solutions Architect team can focus on higher-value tasks instead of repetitive data entry. Requirements Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced formulas, VBA, macros, and data validation. Experience designing automation solutions for complex spreadsheets. Strong understanding of data integrity and version control in Excel. Ability to work independently, deliver high-quality solutions, and document changes for future reference. Nice to Have Experience connecting Excel to external data sources (databases, APIs, etc.). Familiarity with operational workflows for SaaS products or customer deployments.
