The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree in Health or Biomedical Informatics or a related field, or a master's degree with 10+ years of experience in Health Informatics. You will be expected to cover major areas of Health Informatics Education, including Health Information Science and Technology, Human Factors and Socio-technical systems, and Social and Behavioral Aspects of Health.
Responsibilities:
- Teach in the Health Informatics Program and develop courses for traditional classroom, computer labs, and online education
- Contribute to program goals, curriculum development, and training activities
- Engage in scholarly activity, serve on professional committees, and maintain current knowledge in the field
- Recruit, advise, and evaluate students, and participate in departmental and school committees
