Assistant/Associate Professor - Electrical Engineering

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant/Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering to join our team in the College of Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. About the Position: We invite applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in Electrical Engineering, starting in Fall 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise research projects, develop and maintain externally funded research programs, and engage in service activities. We encourage candidates with expertise in areas such as Digital, Analog, and Mixed-Signal Electronics, VLSI and Digital Electronics, Cyber-Physical Systems, including Control Systems and Robotics.

What We Offer: A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $112,000 per year for Assistant Professors and $109,000 - $122,000 per year for Associate Professors, a comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive community of scholars and educators. Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, demonstrated teaching excellence, and a commitment to scholarly activity. Candidates must also demonstrate expertise in one of the desired fields and a potential to contribute to the college's goals related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
