We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Re-Entry Advisor to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Re-Entry Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who have withdrawn from the University, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their academic and personal goals. You will utilize your exceptional communication and critical thinking skills to build rapport with students, identify areas of support, and develop personalized plans to ensure their success. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to students who have withdrawn from the University, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their academic and personal goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, staff, and faculty to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify areas of support and develop personalized plans to ensure student success
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty through various modalities, including phone, email, text, and LiveChat
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and supportive student experience
- Stay up-to-date with University policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- One year of customer service experience required; experience in a call center environment preferred
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly
