Training & Curriculum Specialist NF4 (RFT) - CDC South
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training & Curriculum Specialist NF4 to join our Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) team in Quantico, VA. As a Training & Curriculum Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing training and curriculum development for our Child and Youth Programs (CYP). - Provide training to CYP professionals based on program needs
- Develop and implement curriculum and age-appropriate activities
- Coordinate with CYP Directors to establish training plans and schedules
- Ensure CYP training opportunities include management, support, and direct care professionals
- Execute the DoD Standardized Module Training Program
- Prepare training status reports and recommendations
- Develop programs that encourage and support continuing higher education
- Participate in CYP Inclusion Action Team meetings
- Maintain supporting documentation on participants with special needs
Requirements:
- 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Child/Youth Development or a related field
- 3 years of full-time experience working with children and/or youth
- Knowledge of early childhood or youth education principles, concepts, and techniques
- Knowledge of adult learning techniques and strategies
- Ability to support DoD certification, accreditation, and staff credentialing
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
