Junior SBIR / Scientific Grant Writer (Remote)
We are seeking a Junior SBIR / Scientific Grant Writer with a strong background in research. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with R&D grant proposal writing and scientific research/writing. We will provide training on specific grant programs and a supervision from our Grant Experts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grant Proposal Development: Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding of R&D grant applications.
• Technical Writing: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for grant applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients and project managers to gather necessary technical information and ensure accuracy in grant proposals.
• Write Proposal Packages: Write the project narrative, budget justification, biosketches and other peripherals required for the submission based on the requirements of the solicitation.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor, Masters or PhD
• Experience: Ideally 1+ years of experience in scientific grant writing. It's a plus, not a must. Previous experience in scientific writing is required.
• Technical Expertise: Understanding of R&D grants requirements and scientific research in your dedicated field.
• Writing Skills: Very good technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
• Research Skills: Proficient in conducting funding research and identifying suitable grant opportunities.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with grant management software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the field of your expertise.
• Previous success in securing large-scale grants for technology-driven projects.
Full-Time + Bonuses for winning grants. Project Base fee is based on project scope of work, education and expertise.
