International Director (Education/EdTech)
Job Summary
The International Director is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with international resellers and distributor partners to drive global revenue growth and expand the company’s footprint in key international markets. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and its network of international channel partners, ensuring alignment and proactive support to achieve sales goals, marketing initiatives, product positioning, and customer success. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, cross-cultural communication skills, and a proven ability to manage and scale global reseller and distribution networks. This role must also play an influential and productive role with other internal functions (e.g. Product, Marketing) to ensure the company is positioned to win across international markets.
Essential Functions
• Develop and execute a comprehensive international channel strategy focused on identifying, enabling, and managing high-performing resellers and distributors.
• Identify and prioritize new international markets and channel partners aligned with the company’s global growth strategy.
• Build and grow strong relationships with key decision-makers at distributor and reseller organizations.
• Lead internal teams (sales, marketing, product, and customer success) to support partner success and ensure consistent messaging and execution.
• Negotiate and manage partner agreements, including pricing structures, sales targets, co-marketing initiatives, and service expectations.
• Monitor partner performance and provide coaching, resources, and incentives to drive engagement and results.
• Develop and deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement programs tailored for reseller and distributor partners.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key partners and adjust strategies based on market feedback and performance.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate channel effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, partner events, and education-focused conferences to grow the partner ecosystem.
• Drive partner accountability for customer contract renewals by fostering strong partner relationships and implementing processes that support retention, renewal forecasting, and execution.

• Data literacy and the ability to analyze and act on performance metrics.
• Proficiency with CRM and project management tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Monday.com.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in international partnerships, strategic alliances, or business development in education and/or education technology organizations.
• Demonstrated success in forming and managing revenue-generating international partnerships.
• Familiarity with CRM and partner management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com).
• Willingness to travel internationally as required to build the business.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
