Staff Visual Designer
Mozilla is seeking a Staff Visual Designer to lead UX efforts for major initiatives in Firefox Mobile, focusing on visual craft and interaction design. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first design work, and deep expertise in native design languages, particularly Android and iOS.
Requirements

- Strong ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility in design decisions.
- Experience designing for privacy, security, and accessibility in mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Figma
- Highly collaborative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting and articulating design decisions
- Interest in working with geographically distributed cross-functional team members
- Passionate about building products with people's needs at the center
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and advocate for UX decisions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working with design systems and contributing to their evolution.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative, and remote-first environment.
