Job Summary: Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative

We're looking for caring and talented individuals to join our team as Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representatives. In this pivotal role, you'll act as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, helping patients understand their medical bills, answering their questions, and resolving account balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand their medical bills and provide them with affordable payment options.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by collaborating with patients over the phone to establish payment plans and taking payments.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail by accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems.
  • Support your fellow team members through consistent attendance, an excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
  • Continuously improve your performance with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads, along with ongoing training.

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to understand and relate to patients' concerns.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer software systems (training provided).
  • A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for working from home.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or billing context.
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base annual pay ranging from $37,440 - $43,680, based on prior experience.
  • Monthly performance bonuses ranging from $100-$400.
