About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for fielding customer inquiries, finding innovative ways to respond to varying questions, issues, and concerns, and providing exceptional patient experiences. You will work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments
  • Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Provide feedback on call issues
  • Upsell if required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Ability to type 25 wpm
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Comfort with desktop computer system
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
  • Organization and work prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Work from Home Requirements

To work from home, you will need:

  • Internet Connection Requirements:
    • Minimum subscribed download rate equal to or exceeds 12.0 Mbps
    • Minimum subscribed upload rate equal to or exceeds 3.0 Mbps
    • ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms
  • Proof of internet speed required
  • Clean and quiet workspace
