As a key member of our customs administration and logistics support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customs paperwork, data entry, and documentation for our clients. This is a temp-perm opportunity with the potential to become permanent in the future. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Customs Administration and Logistics Support at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Checking and filing customs paperwork for EU and UK * Data entry and data transfer * Creating and requesting relevant customs clearance documentation * Managing numerous mailboxes between carriers and vendors * Ensuring all shipments have the correct and necessary documents to cross * Dealing with any discrepancies and misalignments that might arise * Office-based work **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A stable and consistent work history * Data entry experience (essential) * Office working experience * Strong communication skills (written and spoken) * High standard of attention to detail * Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook * Clear criminal record * You may be required to take a Drug and Alcohol Test * Transport industry experience is preferred but not essential **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, we prefer candidates with: * Experience working in a logistics or transportation environment * Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong teamwork and communication skills **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need: * Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
