Telehealth Veterinary Technician – Part Time

between 20-25 hrs / wk and shift lengths between 4-8hrs. The majority of these shifts will be during evenings and weekends.
Team Members must be located in the following states: AZ, FL, IA, KS, OK, PA, TX, or WA.*What You'll Do:**+ The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing.+ Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health.+ Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures.+ Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements.+ Collaborate with Chewy Health Team Members on the development of current and new services and products.+ Chewy offers full training and vital materials for the vet tech to support and provide effective communication with pet parents efficiently.
• What You'll Need:**+ Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT)+ A Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor's degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent is required.+ 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience.+ Must have proficient computer skills as this will require interacting with customers and Chewy Team Members remotely through an online platform.+ Someone who accepts forward thinking and curiosity.+ Has exemplary listening and problem-solving skills.+ Ability to multitask comfortably.+ Is comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, applying a team-oriented environment.+ Is passionate about helping people and pets with compassion and excellent customer service focus.+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.+ Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment.+ The Team Member's internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload).+ Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions.+ Minimal travel required.
