JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Nutritional Sciences (Nutr) seeks candidates for potential part-time teaching positions. Candidates must hold a Master?s degree or Doctoral degree in nutrition or closely related field. Teaching opportunities may include: Nutr 100 (Contemporary Nutrition Concerns, 3 credits), Nutr 251 (Introductory Principle of Nutrition, 3 credits), Nutr 358 (Assessment of Nutritional Status, 2 credits), Nutr 490W (Nutrition Seminar, 3 credit writing intensive course with a term paper and oral presentation on an advanced topic in nutrition), Nutr 456 (Community Nutrition, 3 credits), and other courses including a course which requires an MS/RD or RD/PhD to teach. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Reappointment in subsequent years is possible pending continuing need.
