Job description: You will be a key member of the Online Investing Product Strategy team whose remit is to create growth for the business. You will need deep experience within the self-directed industry, which paired with forward thinking and strong analytical skills will help develop and prioritize strategies to grow the Online Investing business

JPMWM sits within CCB and is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals. There are four major channels: Chase Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Advisors, J.P. Morgan Online Investing, our digital investing platform, and J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors, our newly built remote advice channel. The business operates in a highly dynamic environment, given the rapid evolution of client behavior, regulatory changes and tight partnership with other CCB businesses.

In this role you will be responsible for growth & business strategy of the JP Morgan Online Investing business, comprised of Self-Directed Investing and Automated Investing products and which reports through the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management CEO. As a client-oriented leader you will help define, prioritize and execute non-marketing strategies for client acquisition across new and existing channels and sources. Success requires collaboration with key partners across WM Marketing, Chase Consumer Bank, Client Servicing, Retirement and Finance. They will also be responsible for tracking progress and communicating to senior audiences across the organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for Online Investing acquisition of new accounts and new assets
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with various teams spanning Marketing, WM Product, Channels, and many more to bring the value of the firm to our clients
  • Monitor the online investing industry, customer research and behavioral data to anticipate future shifts and trends
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritize acquisition strategies
  • Partner with enterprise lines of business to execute acquisition strategies (i.e., regional Consumer Bank leaders to increase branch engagement)
  • Partner with Finance & Analytics to establish metrics to track success of individual acquisition sources and tactics
  • Develop senior presentations and business reviews to display success
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher with 10+ years of experience in financial services, with experience in wealth management, online brokerage and robo-advisor industry
  • Strong product and strategy background with experience influencing partners across a large, diverse, global organization
  • Self-starter with natural curiosity for the wealth management product, digital solutions, markets and investing
  • Proven success delivering business results for a self-directed business (a strong plus)
  • Experience engaging front-line employees to incentivize and influence desired behaviors
  • Proven ability with product marketing to create awareness and adoption
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience as an influential change agent
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Licensing strongly recommended
