Detailed Description:
Under the direction of design professionals, you will develop designs in BIM documents utilizing Autodesk Revit, or AutoCAD software. In this capacity you will work under the direction of a group of senior process mechanical designers and BIM Leads. Our ideal candidate will have some experience in design coordination of multidiscipline models and be excited about the prospect of learning to develop plans and sections to communicate engineering design. Project work includes: development of P&IDs, equipment layout, design of process piping and utility systems, development of contract drawings, field investigations, and support during construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute work on wastewater and water utilities and industrial facilities including treatment plant, pumping station, and bio-system facility planning and design.
  • Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
  • Assist with studies, permitting and alternative analysis.
  • Duties may also include field activities such as site investigations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience in municipal and/or industrial projects preferred.
  • Experience with BIM-coordinated design a must.
  • Experience using AutoCAD a must.
  • Experience using REVIT a must.
  • Experience using Microstation a plus.
  • Experience in 3D modeling, drawing production and associated workflows.
  • Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and verbally.
  • High level of communication and strong writing skills.
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee?s primary work location and may be more or less depending on skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $29.30 - $40.20
Location B: $32.20 - $44.20
