Job description: The Opportunity
Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Senior IT Manager, Gaming Infrastructure, to join our management team.
This position is a centralized role within the enterprise technology team responsible for leading IT infrastructure initiatives at Delaware North?s world class gaming locations across the globe. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Infrastructure Services and will collaborate heavily with the enterprise and regional IT teams to plan, execute, and support gaming environments within the company.
The Senior IT Manager, Gaming Infrastructure?s responsibilities include designing, building, testing, implementing, and optimizing highly available global network infrastructure in accordance with business and gaming application requirements, security policies, and best practices. The Manager, Gaming Infrastructure ensures the stability and integrity of network and system services by providing oversight as well as the planning, design, and development of multiple simultaneous projects. This employee will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
Working alongside the business relationship managers this role will also be tasked with long term technical budget planning and strategic roadmaps. The role also provides associate training where required. Mentors, evaluates, and provides guidance and oversight to all members of the Network Operations team. The goal is to ensure work and projects are completed promptly and thoroughly.
The ideal candidate will possess solid network and systems infrastructure experience within the casino gaming industry, strong project management intelligence, excellent communication skills, plus a superior, service-oriented approach to infrastructure operations.
Pay
Minimum ? Anticipated Maximum Salary: $91700 - $123900 / year

Strategic Execution
- Supports the vision of the business needs for success now and in the future.

- Provides oversight as well as design, configure and deployment of company voice and data networks for casino/gaming properties and global networks.
- Collaborates with leadership to assess near and long-term network capacity needs and direction.
- Complete projects and work tickets assigned to the Network Operations Organization.
- Gains and maintains an understanding of complex gaming systems and the relationships between the servers hosting these systems.
- Creates and/or maintains documentation as it relates to network and telecom configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
- Creates and/or maintains policies, procedures and associated training plans for network administration and support, optimization, usage, and disaster recovery.
- Keeps leadership and customers informed by preparing reports on system performance and problems. Maintain accurate change management documentation.
- Builds relationships with external experts in the field.
- Guide and advise stakeholders about disruptive technologies and trends.
- Develop diagnostic and actionable deliverables that help business guide investment decisions in support of executing business strategy.
- Leverages influencing and negotiation skills across IT and the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in achievement of business goals.
- Prepare overall status and activity metrics that document and track delivery of IT services, planned and unplanned system outages, and other key IT performance metrics.
- Ensure that the optimal governance structure and compliance activities are associated with infrastructure operations.
- Ensure the proper documentation of all operations activities related to support of compliance mandates, including PCI (patching), data privacy, and cyber-security.
- Maintains overall security in line with Corporate Policies on network/systems and our business subsidiaries.
- Develop and manage relationships with key vendors for infrastructure support.
- Partner with rest of the organization to implement comprehensive operational policies and processes specific to LAN/WAN, gaming/casino management systems, third-party network management.
- Partner with Information Security to ensure infrastructure and operations align with security strategy and policies.
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Must be able to obtain gaming license in all jurisdictions that have MSP products.
- A 5-8+ years of related experience in the implementation, management and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems including cloud architectures, business systems, server technologies, and communication technologies, LANs, WANs, telephone, voice, video and data communication systems.
- Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA) or Aruba Certified Network Technician (ACNT) or its equivalent and 5-8+ years of work experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower, and Check Point Firewalls
- Experience with Aruba and Cisco network switches and Wi-Fi hardware
- Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, QoS, etc.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Hands-on experience with Windows and SQL Server
- Strong working knowledge of IT governance and operations.
- In-depth expertise in software, hardware, and systems engineering.
- Experience with HPE Synergy/Simplivity preferred.
- Knowledge of Aristocrat Oasis 360 casino management system a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of VMWare and Vcenter.
- Experience with Veeam backup solution.
- Knowledge of AV systems a plus
- ITIL (Foundations/ITSM) certification, CompTIA A+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and require little direction
- Must be able to act as team leader and redirect workflow appropriately
- Proven customer relation skills
- Must be able to obtain gaming license in all jurisdictions that have MSP products.
- Must have strong analytical, problem identification and problem-solving abilities.
